Adrenaline —Rush
Adrenaline Rush is an awareness video against speed driving dedicated to young adults. By observing their
behavior while driving, the experience of extreme speed and loud music is a matter of great pleasure to
them. In making this video I took advantage of these two factors and reinterpret them in audio and visual.
I also chose not to illustrate an actual car to create an anticipation of the message and avoid cliche.
W A T C H
Using Adobe After Effects with Element 3D plugin, I created and abstract shape of an animated lump which interacts to the audio I composed of different atmospherical sounds plus the voice overs and car engine.
I adjusted the based sound to the right and left sound output to create more in-depth audible experience.
I eliminated any educational phrases and minimized textual references to only three sentences to take the narrative forward: "you want to win, you want to be the first, but—"
With a variety of frame compositions, I supported the audio with visuals that create tension, anticipation and movement which built up to raise the engagement.
A sudden action to shock, pause and digest the message.
"—but the road is not a race track" is the final message which the whole experience boils up to.
